Custom Error Messages

Guide your website visitors by telling them what went wrong in case there was an error
No matter how great a developer you are, you can never control what a website visitor will be doing, or prevent an error from happening entirely. It is important however that you inform the visitors of your website what exactly went wrong so they know what to do.
You can define what information to show (and even make it show in your general website design) when any of the following errors occur:

  • 403 Forbidden: The requested web page may not be viewed
  • 404 Not Found: The requested web page was not found on the server
  • 405 Not Allowed: The visitor requesting the web page does not have the privileges to do so
  • 500 Internal Server Error: There was a technical problem when executing the requested action.
